Have you ever been to Rosario, WA? It is such a beautiful place. While I was there, I got to see Orcas pass by our beach lookout. I will never forget that experience. Something else that was really cool that I witnessed while I was there, was watching water spirits dance in the waves at sunset. That's the best way I can describe it. I was up on a mountain, looking out at the waves, and it was playing with my eyes. The way that the waves moved and how my brain captured the movements, made me literally see something magical. It was mesmorizing.
In trying to capture and remember that moment, I recorded the waves sound and decided I wanted to create a song with it. Instead of just putting the waves queitly in the background, I thought it would be interesting to use the wave as a beat. The wave beat starts around the 1:50 mark.
I felt the title "Sea Glass" fit becuase I felt like I was peering "through the looking glass" when I saw the dancing spirits. So it's a merge of "looking glass" and "Sea" and "see".

Initially I was trying to create an ASMR song. I did use ASMR triggers in the song like mic brushing, whispering, and whisper singing, but I feel that it may have ended up being more of a relaxing meditative type song. If you got ASMR from listening to the song I would love to know. If so, which trigger did it for you?
